I offer a caring, professional consent based grooming service and I always have your rascals best interests at heart and your peace of mind. Here at Raggy Rascals I understand that each dog is different and all breeds are welcome, I especially love the larger breeds.
We are a family who simply love all animals, we have three dogs, and we will love your pet as much as we do our own.
As a member of The Holistic Grooming Academy means that they are dedicated in learning ethical, science-endorsed ways of conducting their practice in an animal-centred way.

I specialise in helping carers with their nervous dogs via consent-based positive reinforcement training. As a certified Holistic Grooming Behaviourist, my philosophy is rooted in trust and consent, utilising thee latest non forceful techniques. Almost all challenges in the grooming environment stem from a dog that is not coping with what is happening, does not feel safe, and is struggling to communicate their needs. Following a consent based process means this is less likely, and the groom itself is better tolerated so avoiding future problems. Also for those dogs that already have a negative association, it provides the very best way to support the dog to cope better in the future.

Meet and Treat
A meet and treat is the first chance a new customer has to bring their dog to Raggy Rascals and see our lovely grooming salon. Meet and treat is a mandatory appointment for all new customers and is the most important part of your journey with us. In this session we will get to discuss any concerns you may have and the needs of your loved dog. This is an ideal time to ask me any questions and to talk about how holistic consent based grooming will benefit your dog. I will talk about the best options moving forward and taylor a plan for your dogs needs. This is also an opportunity for me to meet your dog and allow your dog to meet me.
Bath and Tidy
Our grooming salon is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pets.
WIuse only pet-friendly products and equipment,
- One to one appointment in a consent based salon
- Basic health check (teeth, eyes, ears etc)
- Shampoo and conditioning treatment that are kind to dogs skin health
- Full brush of coat (any matts will be cut or shaved as we operate a no de-matting policy)
- Trimming of nails
- Removal of fur between pads
- Ear cleaning
- Treats (dietary restrictions to be discussed prior to appointment)
Personalised Co operative Care Programme
We believe that every pet is unique and deserves personalized care. I take the time to understand your pet's individual needs and preferences, and ensure that they receive the best grooming experience.
In order for this to be possible we will devise a care plan for your dog. If your dog is nervous or has had a negative experiance at a traditional grooming salon, a care plan will be the first service for your dog. This care plan will build confidence by using methods such as ACE free work and co operative introduction to equipment.
Each programme is unique to your dogs needs and these prgrammes run for 6 sessions over 6 weeks.
Pawdicure
We believe that every pet is unique and deserves personalized care. I take the time to understand your pet's individual needs and preferences, and ensure that they receive the best grooming experience.
In order for this to be possible we will devise a care plan for your dog. If your dog is nervous or has had a negative experiance at a traditional grooming salon, a care plan will be the first service for your dog. Each programme is unique to your dogs needs and these prgrammes run for 6 sessions over 6 weeks.
Full groom
Includes all shown in bath and dry services with the addition of:
- Clipping/scissoring of coat as appropriate (coat type dependant)
Puppy introduction to grooming package
This is for puppies from 12 weeks to 24 weeks of age and is designed to ensure your puppy is introduced to grooming in a positive consent-based grooming environment. This package runs over 4 weekly visits. Each visit will progress your puppy toward being well prepared for their full groom.
Small animal and cat sitting service
I love all animals at Raggy Rascals and small animal and cat sitting are one of the service that we particularly enjoy. This service means your cat or small animal can stay safe and comfortable in their own home while we visit to take care of there needs.
